Some time during the 900+ mile ride the bolt on Dave R's DRZ was broken and the shifter was loose but would NOT come off. Thanks to Matt's tools, Dave H's eyes, and sheer forcefulness of Rick it finally came off and peace of mind was restored.
So at Day 0 it's "No Worries!"
