ReplyDeleteWish I was with you,right now I can appreciate your gear lever problem, I've recently had the Coaster gearbox reconditioned at great expense, having been browbeaten out of doing it myself - too old and decrepit etc.
It got me to Gilgandra via Manilla and back -Llewella's flying lessons, but on Thursday, coming home from the skunkworks it got stuck in 4th gear at Dora Ck, I managed to stagger home and ring the people who did it - they had a message on - all gone to Sydney for a trade fair and wouldn't be back until Monday! So I had to crawl under and re-attach the linkage where they had left a nut loose, I'm lucky I managed to go as far as I did before it fell off.
